Live Facial Recognition Operation in Southall Results in Multiple Arrests

On Wednesday 21st October, officers from Ealing Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), conducted a Live Facial Recognition (LFR) operation in Southall. The operation resulted in 5 wanted males and one wanted female arrested. Subsequent searches identified one suspect in possession of Class A drugs and a Rambo-style knife, a second suspect in possession of Class B drugs, and another individual who was confirmed as being registered on the Sex Offenders Register. The operation demonstrated the effectiveness of LFR technology in identifying wanted persons and detecting wider criminality.
